Stanley Park
Stanley Park is a public park that is located near the downtown area of Vancouver located in British Columbia, Canada and is almost entirely surrounded by waters in Vancouver Harbour and English Bay. The park has a long history and was one of the first areas explored in the city. The area was utilized by indigenous people for centuries prior to when it was colonized by British after 1858. The park's name comes from Lord Stanley from Preston who served as the Governor General of Canada from 1888 until 1893. Capilano Suspension Bridge
