Stanley Park
Stanley Park is a public park that borders the downtown of Vancouver within British Columbia, Canada and is almost entirely surrounded by waters of Vancouver Harbour as well as English Bay. The park has a long-standing history and was one of the first areas explored by the city. The land was used by indigenous people for many centuries before it was Colonized by the British at the time of 1858. Capilano Suspension Bridge
Spanning across 450 feet (137m) across and up to 230 feet (70m) above the Capilano River, the Capilano Suspension Bridge is among Vancouver's most popular tourist attractions. The bridge was constructed in 1953, and is constructed of cable, with the deck made of wood. The bridge is slightly swaying as you cross it, offering incredible views of the river and the canyon below.
The bridge is a one of many bridges in the Capilano Suspension Park and includes seven acres (2.8 hectares) of forest with hiking trails including the Treetops Adventure - a series of suspended bridges high up in the canopy of the forest and the Cliffwalk which offers a totally different perspective on this part of the Capilano Canyon.
Vancouver Aquarium
The Vancouver Aquarium is among the most visited tourism attractions of Vancouver, and for the right reason. Situated in Stanley Park, the Aquarium hosts over 70,000 marine creatures from around the globe. Some highlights are beluga whales, dolphins, sea otters and sharks.
