Stanley Park
Stanley Park is a public park that borders the downtown of Vancouver within British Columbia, Canada and is almost entirely surrounded by waters that comprise Vancouver Harbour along with English Bay. The park is a landmark in the city's history and was among the first areas explored in the city. The park was used by indigenous people for many centuries before it was colonized by the British in 1858. The park was named in honor of Lord Stanley from Preston, who was the Governor General of Canada from 1888 until 1893. During his tenure, the Governor General helped to establish numerous important cultural institutions within Vancouver including Stanley Park. The park was initially designed as a temperance park in which people could go to relax and enjoy a picnic away from the rowdiness and drunkenness in the urban. But over time, it has evolved into one of Vancouver's most sought-after tourist destinations with over 8 million visitors each year.
There are a variety of attractions in Stanley Park including the Vancouver Aquarium, Canadian First Nations Totem Poles, Brockton Point Lighthouse, in addition to Lost Lagoon. The Aquarium is home to over 75,000 animals including stingrays sharks, sea turtles and dolphins. They also have Totem poles. Capilano Suspension Bridge
The bridge spans across 450 feet (137m) across and 230 feet (70m) over the Capilano River, the Capilano Suspension Bridge is one of Vancouver's most popular tourist attractions. The current bridge was built in 1953 and is made from cable, and has the deck made of wood. The bridge sways slightly when you walk over, giving amazing views of the river and canyon below.
The bridge is part of the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, which also includes seven acres (2.8 hectares) of forest that includes hiking trails and in addition to the Treetops Adventure - a series of suspended bridges that are high in the canopy of the forest and the Cliffwalk which offers a totally different viewpoint of this part of the Capilano Canyon.
Vancouver Aquarium
The Vancouver Aquarium is among the most sought-after places to visit in Vancouver, and for the right reason. It is located in Stanley Park, the Aquarium hosts more than 70,000 aquatic animals from around the globe. Highlights include beluga whales, dolphins, sea otters and sharks.

Grouse Mountain
