Vancouver
Stanley Park
Stanley Park is a public park which is situated near the downtown of Vancouver within British Columbia, Canada and is almost completely surrounded by the water bodies that comprise Vancouver Harbour along with English Bay. The park is a landmark in the city's history and was among the first areas explored by the city. The land was used by indigenous people for centuries before it was Colonized by the British in 1858. The park's name comes from Lord Stanley of Preston who served as the governor general of Canada from 1888 to 1893. During his tenure, he helped establish many key institutional spaces in Vancouver and included Stanley Park. The park was originally designed to be a place where people could gather to have picnics and be away from the drunkenness and rowdiness of the city. In the course of time, it has evolved into one of Vancouver's most sought-after tourist destinations with more than 8 million people visiting every year.
There are numerous attractions within Stanley Park including the Vancouver Aquarium, Canadian First Nations Totem Poles, Brockton Point Lighthouse along with Lost Lagoon. The Aquarium houses more than 75,000 animals including stingrays sea turtles, sharks, and dolphins. Totem Poles Totem Poles were brought to Vancouver from different First Nations villages around British Columbia and are a representation of legends and stories from these cultures. This Brockton Point Lighthouse is one of the most storied lights in British Columbia and offers stunning views of both the city skyline as well as North Shore mountains. Lost Lagoon is a man-made lake that hosts several species of fish and birds.
Capilano Suspension Bridge
The bridge spans over 450 feet (137m) across and 230 feet (70m) over the Capilano River, the Capilano Suspension Bridge is one of Vancouver's most popular tourist attractions. The bridge was constructed in 1953 and is made of cableand the deck made of wood. The bridge is slightly swaying as you walk over, giving incredible views of the canyon and river below.
The bridge is a one of many bridges in the Capilano Suspension Park and includes seven acres (2.8 acres) of forest with trails for hiking, The Treetops Adventure - a series of suspended bridges high in the forest canopy and the Cliffwalk which offers a totally different view of The Capilano Canyon.
Vancouver Aquarium
The Vancouver Aquarium is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Vancouver, and for reasons that are well-founded. In Stanley Park, the Aquarium is home to around 70,000 water species from all over the globe. Its highlights include the beluga whale, dolphins, sea otters and sharks.
Visitors are also able to participate in tours that go behind the scenes including sleepovers, sleepovers, or activities that are hands-on and interactive. This Aquarium is open all days throughout the year, with the exception of Christmas Day.
Grouse Mountain

Toronto Zoo
The Toronto Zoo was founded in 1974 by the Metropolitan Toronto Zoological Society, is a large animal park located in Vaughan. Zoo has been accredited through CAZA (Canadian Association of Zoos and Aquariums) since 2002.
